Placement in group offers for mutual support in cases of chronic illness, addiction, or social problems. Contact points (e.g., SEKIS) provide infrastructure and networking for affected persons who are experts in their own cause and exchange ideas beyond professional hierarchies.

Discrimination-sensitive counseling on coming out, gender identity (trans*, inter*, non-binary), and legal equality. Support with experiences of discrimination, transition processes, and questions regarding rainbow families (adoption, descent law). Counseling Tip 1: Specialized centers offer support with rainbow family topics (adoption, custody). Counseling Tip 2: The AGG (General Equal Treatment Act) offers protection against discrimination in working life and when looking for housing.
