📘 Guide: EUTB - Independent Participation Counseling
Low-threshold counseling independent of service providers for people with disabilities according to § 32 SGB IX. The EUTB advises on all rehabilitation and participation services, supports applications (e.g., Personal Budget), and often works on the Peer Counseling principle (affected persons advise affected persons).
Important Note
The 'Personal Budget' allows you to become the employer of your own assistants – instead of receiving benefits in kind.
Required Documents
- Application for Personal Budget
Steps
- 1Use the Personal Budget to hire assistants yourself.
- 2Ask for Peer Counseling for advice on an equal footing.
