Overview

In cooperation with the ABSV, the Alzheim-based relatives initiative offers a special self-help group for relatives in which the partners suffering from dementia are looked after in parallel in their own group.

Advice on organizing life in old age, housing adaptation, and financial security (basic security in old age under SGB XII, Chapter 4). Support with applications for exemption from co-payments and arrangement of leisure and meeting offers. Counseling Tip 1: Unlike social assistance (SGB XII, Chap. 3), basic security in old age (Chap. 4) does not involve recourse to children's income as long as it is below €100,000.
